Organized Crime: is an organized criminal act used for monetary or personal gain.

The Prohibition Act in the 1920's gave rise to a large amount of Organized Crime.

Many of the Mobs and Bootleggers became rich and powerful through selling illegal alcohol.

One of the most famous Mobsters in the 1920's was notorious Al Capone. Capone was first brought into the organized crime syndicate while working for Franky Yale at the Harvard Inn. As Capone progressed though the mob ranks he began establish what is now known as "Racketeering Rights" Where if any other mob or gang operated in his area, he would either kill or disperse them and take them over.
